Description
MicroAktiv®-CC is a microbial activator for composting cuttings and other organic waste. MicroAktiv®-CC accelerates the start-up of the composting process and ensures a rapid conversion of the organic waste into compost. Many agricultural sectors produce organic waste such as leaf and trimmings that can be composted and converted into excellent quality compost with a high nutritional value. In both small and large-scale composting processes, problems are regularly experienced due to incorrect and unbalanced conditions in the compost heap. When MicroAktiv®-CC is applied at the start of the composting process, it can help prevent these problems. MicroAktiv®-CC provides a uniform starter culture to improve composting speed and compost quality and consistency.
Composition
Selected, adapted, naturally occurring microorganisms. Number of colony-forming units: >3 x 109 cfu/gram
Shelf life: 2 years
Dosage
Add at least 0.1 kg of product/ton of material to be composted. Mix the product with warm water and distribute the suspension after 1 hour of reactivation time to the compost heap just before it is converted or apply layer by layer if the material is dumped. Multiple applications give the best result.
