If you order something in our webshop, we need your information to ensure that we can deliver your order. But we always handle your personal data with care. We take care of them and keep them safe. QM Environmental International B.V. (“MicroAktiv.com”), located at Henricuskade 123A, 2497 NB, The Hague, The Netherlands, is the data controller as described in this privacy policy.

When does this privacy policy apply?

This privacy policy applies to all personal data that our website microaktiv.com processes from anyone who has had contact with microaktiv.com, such as our visitors, customers and business contacts, on all microaktiv.com related domains.

What are personal data?

Personal data is all data that can be traced back to you as an individual. Just think of your name, telephone number, address or e-mail address. But data such as your IP address or microaktiv.com customer number are also personal data. And other data that is unique to you, such as your microaktiv.com order history or surfing behavior.

From whom do we process personal data and how do we obtain this data?

We process the personal data of everyone who has (had) direct contact with microaktiv.com, such as (business) customers and contact persons of partners.
We receive the data directly from you when you visit our website, complete and send the contact form, sign up for the newsletter, or create an account in the webshop.

What data do we process from you, what do we use it for and how long are they kept?

Data for processing your information request via our contact form

If you send us a message via our contact form, we need certain information from you, such as your name, e-mail address and telephone number, in order to get in touch with you. This data is kept for as long as necessary to provide you with complete information. This data will be removed from our systems 6 months after the last contact between us.

Data for processing your registration for receiving the newsletter

If you sign up for the newsletter, you do this by entering your e-mail address. This address is kept in our system as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter. As soon as you unsubscribe from receiving the newsletter, your e-mail address will be deleted.

Data for processing your order

If you order something, we need certain information from you to be able to deliver your order and to keep you informed about your order. This information is also required for any returns or replacements.
For this we collect your name, e-mail address, delivery address(es) and your telephone number.
The data is necessary to perform the agreement that you have concluded with us (or with one of our sales partners).

Data for processing an order from someone else, where your address is the delivery address

When someone sends an order directly to you, we receive your name and address details from that person. microaktiv.com needs this data to be able to deliver the order.

Data in your account

We store the following data in your personal account: your first and last name, (delivery/location/invoice) address(es), telephone number, e-mail address, customer number, orders, downloads and invoices.
It is our customer promise to make our customers’ lives easier and more fun. That is why we keep the data in your account as long as you are an active customer with us. If you have not logged in with us for 7 years, we will delete all your data. In addition, you can request at any time to have your data removed in your account.

Information about your contact with customer service

You can contact customer service during office hours. You can call or email us.
We use the data stored in your account to contact you in response to your question or complaint to us. We can help you faster next time by saving your data. We therefore keep the notes about customer contact with us and with our sales partners as long as you are an active customer with us.

Data for an optimal shopping experience

First of all, we ensure that our website works properly so that you can shop optimally.

Social media

If you use social media such as Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest, you can use the ‘like and share’ buttons in the web shop on microaktiv.com to share articles that you find fun, useful or useful with your friends on your social media account. Microaktiv.com does not get access to your social media account. Distribution and logistics partners

For the delivery of your order(s), we work together with various logistics partners, such as PostNL and GLS. Our logistics partners receive your contact details and delivery and billing addresses. They need this information to deliver your package to the address you have chosen, to keep you informed of the delivery time by e-mail, SMS or via an app and to give you the option of using additional services from to use these logistics partners (such as a different delivery address). The logistics partner is involved as an independently responsible party in the implementation of the agreement with you. Government

Sometimes we have to pass on personal data to the government. This may first occur if certain government institutions need this information to perform their duties, such as the Tax and Customs Administration. The police or judiciary may also need certain data in the event of fraud or abuse. Finally, certain supervisory authorities may gain access to personal data in the context of an investigation.

Where do we store your data?

We store your data within the European Economic Area (“EEA”). However, certain data we collect may be transferred to or stored at a destination outside the EEA, for example because one of our third-party service providers is based there. Right to information

Right to correction

You have the right to have your personal data corrected if they are incorrect or outdated and/or to have them supplemented if they are incomplete. You can do this 24/7 in your account.

Right to file a complaint

You have the right to submit a complaint about the way in which we handle your data. If you have a complaint, we prefer to resolve it with you ourselves. Please contact our customer service for this.
