Description
MicroAktiv®-N2Fix is a mixture of selected, naturally occurring micro-organisms for use in agriculture and horticulture for the absorption of nitrogen from the air.
MicroAktiv®-N2Fix is a liquid containing micro-organisms from the Methylobacterium family. It is known that this bacterium can absorb nitrogen from the air and make it available for crops. This has a positive contribution to the growth of the plant and reduces the need for artificial N-fertilization.
APPLICATIONS
MicroAktiv®-N2Fix is used as a soil improver and foliar spray in agriculture and horticulture. MicroAktiv®-N2Fix contains the bacteria Methylobacterium extorquens. This bacterium can fix atmospheric nitrogen (N2). MicroAktiv®-N2Fix enables each crop to naturally fix an average of 11.3 kg of atmospheric nitrogen (N2) per hectare. Methylobacterium also stimulates photosynthesis These bacteria absorb UV-A and UV-B light, which increases photosynthesis and gives the plants more energy.
Nitrogenases are the enzymes used by the nitrogen-fixing bacteria Methylobacterium to break down the molecular nitrogen in the atmosphere. Combining nitrogen with hydrogen creates ammonium.
Composition
MicroAktiv®-N2Fix contains selected, naturally occurring, non-pathogenic saprophyte Methylobacterium extorquens strain at a concentration of 108 CFU/ml.
MicroAktiv® products are based on natural ingredients and bacteria. Therefore, do not use the product in combination with biocides and fungicides. Soils that have been exposed to these agents for a long time contain residues of these products and are not directly suitable for the application of MicroAktiv®. These obstacles can be overcome with the aid of certain additives. Consult your MicroAktiv® product specialist for the best treatment program.
Dosage
MicroAktiv®-N2Fix can be applied as foliar spray on the leaf of the crop or to the soil.
Roadmap:
- Dosage: 115 grams per hectare
- Spray in the morning or evening.
- Apply in dry weather.
- Minimum temperature 4° C.
- Do not mix with pesticides or fungicides.
- Repeat after 4/6 weeks
Shelf life: 6 months, 2 weeks after opening packaging (if stored between ; 5° -10° C; avoid exposure to high temperatures and direct sunlight)
