MicroAktiv®-ZECAMAG

MicroAktiv®-ZECAMAG is a natural mineral feed additive based on zeolites for cattle, goats, sheep, pigs and poultry. MicroAktiv®-ZECAMAG is a special formula of clinoptilolite to which calcium and magnesium carbonates from natural mineral sources have been added.

Composition

MicroAktiv®-ZECAMAG based on clinoptilolite, calcium and magnesium – complies with the following EU regulations and directives containing specific references to clinoptilolite:

Implementing Regulation (EU) NO. 651/2013

of the Committee of 9 July 2013 on the authorization of clinoptilolite of sedimentary origin as a feed additive for all animal species and amending Regulation (EC) No. 1810/2005;

Regulation (EC) NO. 889/2008

From the Commission of 5 September 2008 laying down the rules for the application of Regulation (EC) No. Council Regulation 834/2007 on organic production and labeling of organic products in terms of organic production, labeling and control: section Technological additives, binders, anti-caking agents and coagulants;

EC Directive 2008/4/EC

of 9 January 2008 amending Directive 94/39/EC on the use of additives to reduce the risk of milk fever in dairy cows and in which EFSA concludes that the mineral clinoptilolite has the potential to prevent this metabolic disease (paresis paresis) in dairy cows.

The concentration of clinoptilolite

The concentration of clinoptilolite is at least 87%, CaCO3 12% – 20%, MgO min. 4%, CaO min 8%, processed by specific processes especially for animal and bird feeding.

Dosage

Shelf life: 2 years

Cattle / Sheep / Goats

Adult animals: 50 g – 70 g/day
Young animals: 15 g – 20 g/day
 Lactating calves/lambs: 1 tablespoon added to the milk

Pigs

2% of the daily weight of the food

Poultry

Chicks (up to 30 days old): 1%
Layers & broilers and other birds: 2%
